Gospel Concert

The South County Faith Network, Inc., a Faith in Action program in Southern Anne Arundel County, holds a Gospel Concert on the last Saturday in September. The concert is held at Southern High School on Route 2 in Harwood.
The Concert features the choirs and musical groups from local south county churches. Each group or choir sings selections from its traditional repertoire. The evening will includes some audience participation and joint performances. Participants in the past have included: The Silent Xpressions and Psalm 95.1 from St. Matthews UMC; the Liturgical Dancers of Franklin United Methodist Church; the Cedar Grove Praise Band; the Spiritual Vibrations; Voices from Heaven, the children’s choir of Centenary UMC in Shady Side; The Male Chorus of Ebenezer A.M.E; the Choir of Our Lady of Sorrows in West River; the Sanctuary choir of Friendship UMC; and The Sour Notes. Rev. Gioele Settembrini and May Rybak have served as hosts. Tickets are available in advance or at the door for a donation.
