Fourth Of July Breakfast

The South County Faith Network hosts an Annual Fourth of July Breakfast and Parade Viewing at Centenary United Methodist Church on Shady Side Road in Shady Side. The event starts at 8:15 a.m. and South County residents and their family, friends and neighbors (and out of town guests) are invited to attend. A complementary continental breakfast will be served. Donations are accepted.
The event includes a presentation of the flag by Cub Scout Troop 853 and a short interdenominational prayer service. The highlight of the event is the awards to outstanding volunteers for service during the past year. Please call and let us know if you are coming (it would be a shame to run out of food) but come anyway if the mood strikes you when you wake up on the Fourth. The Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and the road will close at approximately 9:30. Seniors and others not wishing to stand in the heat and sun will be able to watch the parade from the air-conditioned comfort of the Fellowship Hall.
